The summer flowers are all in full bloom
Well, almost. The day lilies are still just starting to open. One plant has two flowers that have come and gone and one that is hanging on, but the other two lilies haven't done anything. The hydrangeas are also not looking too great, but maybe they are supposed to be late bloomers. Everything else is blooming and looking great. This is the time to start looking at what looks good next to each other and figure out if anything needs to be moved before next season. Some plants are getting rather large and flopping over so I need to write down which ones they are and get some grow-through supports. Others are just getting wide and I'll need to move plants out of their way. But, now I can enjoy the flowers that I've anticipated for so long and watch the vegetables start to mature.
