Fall is here

I should probably not be posting right now since I have a paper due in two days for my grad class, but here I go anyway.  Right now I'm sitting in front of a roaring fire watching Survivor and wishing there wasn't frost in the forecast.  The yard is starting to look more and more like fall, but the garden is still producing. Here are the highlights for this week.
Raspberries are still giving me about 5 cups every 2 days.

The garden still has squash, celery, tomatoes, and garlic.

Even the marigolds look nice.

I've mulched and covered the garlic with chicken wire to keep the critters out.

Oak-leaf hydrangea is looking nice

The bees are still working.

The zinnias are looking better than ever.

The pine tree garden looks like it's winding down for the year but there are still a few surprises like the blanket flower and spiderwort.
